Sector Brief
A weekly edition for one sector
Each sector gets its own edition, and everyone subscribed to that sector reads the same issue. A full issue opens with a bottom line and an executive summary, then rates the week’s main items by risk with their sources, sets out a dated calendar and the stakeholders involved, and closes with a 90-day outlook.
Issues post to the members’ area every week, alongside the archive for your sector, with an optional email reminder when a new one is up.

Policy Tracker & Calendar
One product, two views
Tracker view: the bills, regulations, major project decisions and fiscal events that bear on Western Canada business. Every entry shows its current stage, its next formal step with a date, and a link to the official or news source behind it. Filter by jurisdiction and sector, check what changed this week, or look ahead at the next 14 days.
Calendar view: upcoming budgets, rate decisions, regulatory deadlines, consultations and votes across Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan, Manitoba and federally. Each line links to its public source, and dates drop off once they pass.
The Policy Tracker & Calendar is a separate plan at C$59 a month. It is not included with Sector Brief plans; you can hold it on its own or add it to any other plan at its own price.

Permit Watch maps building permits, development permits, rezonings and Alberta major projects in Edmonton, Calgary, Strathcona County and Red Deer, refreshed nightly from public open data. Filter by city, permit type, value, date and trade, then download the list as a spreadsheet.
Save an area and trade as an alert, and see which builders are pulling the most permits in Calgary and Red Deer. Company names only; not an official city record.
